Welcome to West Of Scotland Development Education Centre (WOSDEC) Website

WOSDEC is the West of Scotland Development Education Centre and is one of six development education centres (DECs) in Scotland.

Conference picture WOSDEC works with teachers and others responsible for education to promote global citizenship in schools and to ensure that there is a global dimension throughout Scottish education. Using creative resources and methods we support learning and teaching in a way that encourages young people to be confident and effective contributors to a more just and equitable world. We are located in the centre of Glasgow and welcome enquiries by telephone or e-mail. We also maintain a library of resources and visitors are most welcome to come and browse our collection.
