Wosdec was delighted to welcome Humza Yousaf,the Scottish Minister for International Development, on Friday 19th April. Humza was keen to learn more about the work Wosdec and the other DECs do. He was able to meet with some teachers who are participating in the Global Storylines project. He was very interested to hear their experiences of using the Global Storylines methodology in the classrooms. Humza was also able to discuss with the staff at Wosdec the other work DECs do and also the uncertain funding situation for the DECs going forward. He is going to discuss further with Mike Russell, the minister for Education the funding of the DECs going forward. See Humza's Blog for his thoughts on the visit.
